Pathway Church, located Huntsville, AL, has an immediate opening for a full or part time pastor. We are a Free Will Baptist congregation of approximately 50 - 70 people, both young and mature, and enjoy a contemporary worship service with a casual atmosphere. Our pastor passed unexpectedly a few months ago, so we are looking for a full or part time pastor, or possibly an interim pastor until a new pastor is selected.
Our Vision Statement: Reaching out to unchurched young families offering practical biblical solutions that meet the needs of the whole person providing opportunities to reach our full potential for God.

Brief description: We are looking for a lead teacher for our mothers' day out program.
Responsibilities will include:
**General supervision and management of class of pre-school aged children.
**Planning and executing the educational program in accordance with the purpose of Lakehills Free Will Baptist Church Mothers day out program.
**Plan and implement the daily schedule to include classroom, playtime, Chapel, and Arts and craft.
**Making sure kids are safe at all times and not allowing any child to wonder about the building alone, making sure kids play together learning to share.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A passionate love for the Lord
1 year of experience in teaching pre-school aged children
A functional and applied knowledge of childhood education and development
Ability to develop rapport with children, parents and co-workers.

Discovery Church is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Pastor. The ideal candidate will be a man of God with a heart for reaching the lost and backslidden. He will be open to reaching out into the racial and age diversity found within our church, city and county.
This man of God will believe in, and utilize, a team leadership style in which he will be responsible for casting vision for the future of Discovery. He will be comfortable designating ministry responsibilities and allowing those leaders to flourish within the team environment while maintaining an atmosphere of importance in following through with assignments. He will also have an understanding of how each ministry is part of the whole body and must therefore operate together to have a living, functioning organism and will be an example of this in his leadership style.
As the Senior Pastor, the candidate will also be responsible for providing sermons at the Sunday morning service and teaching bible studies. He will be responsible for training deacons and others within the church as preachers/speakers. He will understand the importance of God’s word being understood and therefore will not insist on a particular version of the Bible being used by the congregation but rather will evaluate a version of the Bible based on it’s accuracy of interpretation. He will develop, and participate in, chaplain services to our membership and their families as well as outreach to Discovery’s guests and neighbors.
