COMMENTS: My wife and I have a small, very clean home (which is vacant) in the Tennessee foothills which we'd like to open to a couple or small family who lost their home in the recent hurricane. I am contacting your FWB website since most of the churches in the immediate area are FWB and thought it might be an easy transition for someone in your congregation. We would like to let them live rent-free for a year. It sits on 9 acres and adjoins National Forest and would be good for someone used to raising a few pigs and chickens. Please contact us if you know of any interested members who lost their home in Katrina and would consider a fresh start in the mountains. Looking for someone responsible and honest. Thanks, William

COMMENTS: I attended FWBBC 1974-79 &81,82. I attended Luther Rice Seminary 1982-85. Looking for former classmates and friends. I worked in churches in Tenn and Ark. I pastored in Fl. and served a Chaplain in the Army 1987-93 with a "visit" to Iraq to minister to the troops and Iraqis. I currently as serve a chaplain for the state of NC ministering to the Developmentally (and Physically) Disabled (DD). If any one has members or potenial members that have DD family members and would like counsel relating ministering to this group of people, please contact me either by email or phone (919-581-4561). This is an area of ministry that we (FWB) as a whole have overlooked. We need to reach to reach the world. This group of people and thier families are current day "unclean" people. They like you and I will be held accountable at the judgement seat of GOD!

COMMENTS: My wife and I have begun a new ministry. Missonary Encouragement Support Foundation. We travel in our Motor Home to locations where we have missionaries and set up locally in a campground. We go to church with them for about four to six weeks and help in any way we can: teach a class, lead singing, play the piano, special music or any thing they are doing that we can help with. Our ministry is to encourage our missionaries.
